We regret to advise of the death of Master Warrant Officer Gary William Thompson, CD (Ret’d) on 2 April 2022 in Quesnel BC.

Gary was a Refrigeration and Mechanical Technician and retired as Mechanical Systems Technician. His service as a Canadian Military Engineer included an early posting to Canadian Forces Station Penold AB (1972-75) during which time he deployed on United Nations Emergency Force II in Egypt. Gary was also stationed in CFS Sioux Lookout (1984-87) and Canadian Forces Base Goose Bay (1989- 91).

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, 8 April at the Quesnel Royal Canadian Legion Hall {262 Kinchant Street}, followed by refreshments. Should you feel so inclined, you are welcome to make a contribution in Gary's honour to the Quesnel branch SPCA.
