MCpl Scott Kelly, CD

    After 23 + years service to Canada and the Engineering Branch, Master Corporal Scott Kelly has decided to retire from the CF.

    Master Corporal Kelly joined the CF, Sept 1988 in Bathurst NB. Originally joining as a Field Engineer (041), his first posting was 22 Field Squadron, later changing to 4 ESR.

    In 1997 Master Corporal Kelly completed an Occupational Transfer to Field Engineer Equipment Operator (042) and remained at 4ESR until 2002.

    In Jan 2003 once again he completed an Occupational Transfer to Electrical Distribution Technician (ED Tech).

    His first posting as an ED Tech was 19 Wing Comox. In 2006 he was posted back to Gagetown to 4 ESR and in 2011 was posted to 4 Wing Cold Lake.

    During his career, Master Corporal Kelly has been on a number of operational tours, Former Yugoslav Republic in 1994 and 1999, Haiti in 1996, UAE in 2005, Afghanistan 2006 and Operation Lama in Newfoundland in 2010.

    Master Corporal Kelly’s last day in uniform will be 4 June 2012. His career has enabled him to meet and work great people and see magnificent places. There will be a DWD at Original Joe’s in Cold Lake to celebrate his dedication and commitment to the CF.

    He plans to retire to the Gagetown, New Brunswick area in order to spend more time with his wife Kim and kids Phoenix and Cannon.
