We regret to advise of the sudden death of Major Roderick "Rod" MacLean, CD (Ret'd) on 11 September 2014 at the age of 77 years while on holiday in Paris France.

A graduate of St. Francis Xavier University and Nova Scotia Technical School (Civil Engineering), Rod served a full career with the Canadian Military Engineers . After retirement he worked as a Director in the Department of Indian Affairs. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair and Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth, Ontario, K7H 2L7 on Thursday, 18 September from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception in the Blair and Son Family Centre. In remembrance, contributions to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation, 33 Drummond St., West, Perth, would be appreciated.
