    We regret to advise of the death of Lieutenant Colonel Kenneth Leslie Cameron CD (Ret’d) on 29 September 2008 in hospital in Ottawa in his 87th year.

    Ken joined the Royal Canadian Engineers upon graduation in Electrical Engineering at Queen's University and proudly served for 35 years across Canada, Australia and the United States. He also served with the United Nations force in Korea and the UN Truce Supervision Organization in Palestine.

    On retirement from the military, Ken joined the Public Service and worked with Environment Canada and the Atomic Energy Control Board and other organisations. He was active with friends and community, the YMCA Men's Discussion Group, volunteered for many years with the Red Cross and was a thirty-year member of Hylands Golf Club.

    Visitation will be at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Avenue, Ottawa on 1 and 2 October with a memorial service to follow the 2 October visitation. In memoriam donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.{khFeb2018}
