LCol J.J.R. Jacques Vaillancourt, CD

After 30 plus years of loyal and dedicated service to the Canadian Forces, Lieutenant-Colonel J.J.R. Jacques Vaillancourt has decided to retire effective May 15th, 2007.
Lieutenant-Colonel Vaillancourt enrolled in the Canadian Forces as a Military Engineer on 20 August 1976 in Quebec City. During his career, he has served in Chilliwack, Halifax, Chibougamau, Bagotville, SaintHubert, North Bay, Toronto (CFCSC) and Ottawa. He is one of a dying breed having been both a SCEO and BCEO.
Jacques and Nicole will remain in Ottawa. Jacques has already started a new career with Parks Canada.
