We regret to advise of the death of J. Edward Daoust on 1 December 2002 in Kamloops, BC at 61 years of age after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Bom and raised in Fannystelle, MB, Ed joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1962 and became an Electrical Generating Systems Technician. He retired from the CF at Canadian Forces Station Kamloops, BC in 1983.  After leaving the Forces Ed went to work at Weyerhaeuser in the steam plant as a Power Engineer until June 2000.

Viewing will be held from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 in the Rosewood Room at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive. The Funeral Service will follow immediately at 3:00 p.m. in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ed’s memory to the R.I.H.
