Members of the Angus Glen Older Adults Club in Markham, ON are active supporters of the Izzy Doll project. A video of the work of their Craft Group has recently been produced that shows the club members hard at work making more Izzy Dolls. It also explains the origins of the Izzy Doll and the role of MCpl Mark Isfeld and his family in starting this humanitarian work with the children of the Former YugosIavia during the worst period of the conflict in the 1990s. Mark Isfeld was a veteran of the United Nations Iraq–Kuwait Observation Mission (UNIKOM) and was on his second deployment to The United Nations Protection Force in the Former Yugoslavia (UNPROFOR) when he was killed by an exploding landmine.
