The official opening of the Kingston “Homes for Heroes” took place on Tuesday, 4 June 2024.  One of these homes is named for Master Corporal Mark Isfeld. CME CWO Darrel Jones and Shirley O'Connell, the "Izzy Doll Mama," participated in this ceremonial opening.

Mark's home, Isfeld House, is Number 15 and,  like the rest of the homes,  has a plaque in front with Mark's picture and history.  Shirley O'Connell provided Mr. Rob Baxter, the Kingston Village Project Team leader,  with a shadow box outlining the Izzy Doll Story and also presented 22 Peacekeeper Izzy Dolls for distribution to the resident veterans.
