We regret to advise of the death of Honorary Lieutenant Colonel Charles-Émile Marquis at the Quebec Heart and Lung Institute of Laval University in Quebec City, QC on 30 April 2014 at the age of 88 years.

Charles was a civil engineer and businessman in the Quebec City area. He was the first Honorary Lieutenant Colonel of 10 ième Escadron du Génie de campagne in Quebec City and held this appointment for nine years from 1977-1986.
