We regret to advise of the death of Corporal Gregory Owen Caissie, CD (Ret'd) on Wednesday, 10 October 2018 near Welland, ON at the age of 45 due to a vehicle accident.  Greg was a Canadian Military Engineers Combat Engineer veteran . He retired from 2 Combat Engineer Regiment in 2016 after a 16-year career that included a deployment to Bosnia and two deployments to Afghanistan. Greg was a dedicated leader in the local Scouting community. 

The family invites friends to Pleasantview Funeral Home, 2000 Merrittville Highway, on Thursday, 18 October from 6:00 - 9 :00 pm. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday, 19 October at 11:00 am. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Alzheimer’s Society in memory of his mom and Toronto General Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated by his family.
