We regret to advise of the death of Sergeant Ralph Hilary Shillam at home in Calgary AB on 5 February 2006 at the age of 87 years.

Ralph was a veteran of the Second World War. He served with the Canadian Forestry Corps and the Royal Canadian Engineers. After demobilization in Calgary, he went into private business and was self-employed until his retirement in 1986.  He enjoyed his retirement years being actively involved in various Calgary organisations such as the Thornview Seniors, the Second Sixties Outdoor Club, and the Army, Navy and Airforce Veterans, Alexander of Tunis Unit #2.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway's Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street NE, Calgary on 10 February. In living memory a tree will be planted at Fletcher Park, Calgary.  Donations may be made to the Alberta Lung Association, P.O.
