Cpl Ken Canning

Cpl Ken Canning joined the regular force as an Infantryman on 10 Dec 69. After completing basic training at CFRS Cornwallis he was posted to his level 2 infantryman course at CFB Borden in 1970. He joined 1 PPCLI in Calgary in Feb 1970 and served there until a posting to Suffield from Feb 1980 to 1981.
Ken remusted to Structural Technician on Dec 1981 and was posted to CFB Gagetown Dec 1981 to to July 1985. He did two UN tours of Cyprus. He was posted again to Suffield from Jul 85 to Sep 1990. He did an UNDOF tour in 1989/90.
Ken took his release in Sep 1990 and moved to the Fraser Valley. Cpl Canning then joined 6 Fd Sqn from 1992-1994. In Aug 97 he joined 192 AEF and served with this unit including a TAV in Bosnia and Aviano, Italy. He will retire to Chilliwack.
