Real Property Operations Detachment Kingston will host this Engineer Branch Event at the CFB Garrison Golf and Curling Club the last weekend of March 2020.
The goal of this year’s event is to raise funds for “Soldier On” Fund that supports current serving members and Veterans to overcome their permanent physical or mental health illness or injury through Physical activity and sport.
The Pigspiel is an Open Bonspiel with a guaranteed minimum of three games. The following can participate:
- All serving or retired Military Engineers;
- All serving or retired civilian personnel who have worked with the Military Engineers;
- All serving DCC personnel who are working with Military Engineers;
- All serving or retired military members who have been posted to an Engineer Regiment, Detachment or Section; and
- Any relatives of the above including partners.
The Pigspiel will be limited to the first 32 paid teams with an Engineer component until the 14th of Feb 2020. After the 14th, all other applicant teams without the minimum engineer requirements will be admitted on a first come first-served basis.

Friday 27th March: Curling all day and dining at the Garrison Golf and Curling Club the Opening Ceremonies will be at 11:15; and
Saturday 28th March: Curling all day and luncheon at the Garrison Golf and Curling Club, Semi-Finals and Finals (Tentative completion 15:30).

Thursday 26th March: Meet and Greet (depending on interest) @ 18:00hrs, CFB Kingston with a potential first draw that night;
Friday 27th March: Curling all day and dinner at the Garrison Golf and Curling Club the Opening Ceremonies will be at 11:15;
Saturday 28th March: Curling all day and luncheon at the Garrison Golf and Curling Club, Semi-Finals and Finals (Tentative completion 15:30);
Sunday 29th March: Curling Semi-Finals and Finals (if required).
All dates and timings will be confirmed after the 14th February once the number of teams have been confirmed and payments received, at which time a schedule will be sent to all teams by the end of February 2020.

The fee will be $60.00 per person which include snacks at the meet and greet or a meal Friday night at the curling club (Tentative) and luncheon at the curling club on Saturday, Final date for registration and payment will be on the 14th of Feb 2020. Fill out the attached registration form and email it to the contact below or send it with your cheque via mail.
- Individuals without a team may still register and be placed on the spare list, where they will be matched with a team that is short players; and
Memorabilia may be available such as coins and pins (depending on interest), payment for these will have to be made at time of registration and will be included as an option on the registration form.
