We regret to advise of the death of Donald H. Jones of Townsend, Maryland, USA  on 27 February 2018 at his residence at age 86

Donald was born in New Brunswick but had resided in Townsend for over 50 years. He served in the Canadian Merchant Marine for five years and then in the Canadian Militia with the Royal Canadian Engineers. He worked as a paper maker for 40 years at Hollingsworth & Vose Company in West Groton before retiring in 2000. Donald was a longtime member of the Townsend Lions Club.

There will be no visitation. A celebration of Donald’s life will be held at the Townsend VFW Pavilion on Saturday, 28 April 2018 from noon until 5PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Townsend Lions Club, PO Box 224, Townsend, MA 01469. Condolences may be sent to the Funeral Home.^{{khMar2018} [zsd, zsp]}
