We regret to advise of the death of Donald Floyd McMillan at the London ON University Hospital on 7 March 2011, just shy of his 85th birthday.
Don was born in Englehart ON and was a veteran of the Second World War who served in the Royal Canadian Engineers. He grew up in the northern Ontario mining region and in 1950 moved to Sudbury where he worked for the Falconridge mining company for many years. After retirement, he relocated to London to be closer to his children and their families.
A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 PM on 10 March at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home in Sudbury followed by burial in the Sudbury Civic Memorial Cemetery. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 336, Falconbridge ON in Donald’s will be appreciated.
