We regret to advise of the death of Chief Warrant Officer Wayne Paul Manick, CD (Ret’d) on 24 January 2022 at home in Victoria BC at age 79.

Wayne was a member of the Sapper Apprentice 9^th Intake and undertook his academic and basic Field Engineer training at the Royal Canadian School of Military Engineering (1960-61).  His postings during his 32 years of service included postings across Canada and in Germany and included service with NATO and on United Nations peacekeeping deployment. Wayne finished his career at the rank of Chief Warrant Officer working in Finance with Maritime Command.

A private family graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Cancer Society on Wayne’s behalf. Online condolences can be sent to the funeral home .
