Cpl Moran enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces on 10 May 2012 and was promoted to Corporal on 01 May 2017. Throughout his career, Cpl Moran has served in various capacities, demonstrating versatility and dedication to his duties.
He began his military journey with The Canadian Scottish Regiment Princess Mary’s in Victoria, BC in 2012, followed by training at the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering in 2013. His service continued with 4 Engineer Support Regiment in Oromocto, NB, where he gained valuable experience before being posted to 2 Combat Engineer Regiment in Petawawa in 2017.
In 2019, Cpl Moran was posted to 33 Combat Engineer Regiment and then transitioned to CFRC Ottawa as a File Manager. Over the years, he has held various key positions including Section member, C9 Gunner, storeman, Training NCO, and Recruiter File Administrator.
Cpl Moran is dedicated to both his military career and his family. He is married to Taylor, and together they have two children, Maisie and Lillie. They intend on remaining within the NCR.
