We regret to advise of the death of Corporal Tomasz Grzegorz Malinowski, CD (Ret’d) of Elie MB on 12 April 2022 at the age of 37 years.

Tomasz was born in Brzesko, Poland and enlisted in the Canadian Forces in 2006. He was a Plumbing and Heating Technician who had served with 17 Wing in Canadian Forces Base CFB Winnipeg MB since 2015 and he had also deployed to Afghanistan.

The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines ON ) on Sunday, 1 May from 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 pm. Vigil prayers will be held for Tomasz at 3:00 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church (5 Oblate Street). Rite of Committal will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations made to Sick Kids Foundation in memory of Tomasz would be appreciated by his family.
