Corporal (Cpl) Jared Duncalf joined the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) on the 14th of February 2022 as an Electrical Distribution Technician. Completed the Basic Military Qualification (BMQ) course at St. Jean-sur-Richelieu 13th of May 2022. Cpl Duncalf completed the Electrical Distribution Technician course at CFSME in 2023 and was posted to RPOU(W) Det Wainwright. Since then, Cpl Duncalf participated on Ex. JURA SAPPER 24, completed countless hours of IIMS work orders to a high standards, in conjunction with some of his OJT book requirements towards his journeyman certification. Cpl Duncalf was the active Sports Rep for the unit in conjunction with PSP and actively supported in Safety Committee initiatives. On March 20th,2025, Cpl Jared Duncalf was awarded the RPOU(W) CO’s coin for unwavering dedication, strategic foresight, and collaborative spirit have consistently propelled the Wainwright community forward, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Cpl Duncalf’s guidance has not only met but exceeded resilience and innovation. Their leadership has inspired all ranks, fostering cohesion and morale within Det Wainwright.
Cpl Duncalf will release from the CAF on 11th of July 2025 and is planning on moving to British-Columbia where he will join the Cutting Edge Construction company in Scotch Creek.
