    Christopher Meldrum was born in Scarborough, ON, in 1993 and joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a Refrigeration and Mechanical Technician in Oshawa, ON, in March 2015.

    After basic training, Avr Meldrum completed the RM DP1 in Gagetown, NB, in 2016 and was posted to 4 Wing Cold Lake, AB. He then completed DP2 in 2019 before being promoted to Cpl.

    Cpl Meldrum deployed on Op Impact with JTF-I to Erbil, Iraq, in the summer 2019, earning the General Campaign Star (Expedition) medal. In September 2020, Cpl Meldrum completed the AAS Fixed Arrestor Gear Team Lead qualification and in April 2021, was tasked as team lead in Inuvik, NWT, for three months.
