We regret to advise of the death of Master Corporal Andrew Brian Jackson (Ret’d), peacefully in his sleep on 18 March 2022 in Woodstock ON at the age of 36 years.

Andrew joined the Canadian Forces and the Canadian Military Engineers in 2006 and served his country for 12 years. After completing his Combat Engineer training at the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering in Canadian Forces Base Gagetown NB, he was posted to 4 Engineer Support Regiment (4 ESR) on that base where he served most of his career. During his tour with 4 ESR, Andrew became a Combat Diver. He served in Afghanistan in 2009 as a member of the Expedient Route Opening Capability (EROC).

Friends are invited to join the family at St. David’s United Church, 190 Springbank Ave., Woodstock on Friday 8 April 2022, from 2:00 - 4:00pm  and 6:00 - 8:00 pm, where the memorial service will be held in the Sanctuary on Saturday at 1:30 pm. Cremation has taken place. Attendees to the visitation and/or service are required to wear a face mask during their visit. Proof of vaccination may be asked as well.  

Memorial contributions to the Operational Stress Injury Clinic at Parkwood Hospital, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 55, Woodstock would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock (519-539-0004).
