In recognition of his exceptional care and compassion in assisting generations of Canadian Veterans to acquire missing medals and awards to which they were entitled, for working with the Last Post Fund in the provision of missing and replacement grave markers and for promoting Canadian military history and continuing to honourably represent the Canadian Military Engineers within his community, Canada and internationally, Corporal Kyle Scott (Ret'd) was presented with the Canadian Military Engineer Branch Commendation.

This presentation was conducted at 1 Combat Engineer Regiment’s Patton Building in Edmonton, on 25 March 2021. The presentation was made by the CO of 1 CER, LCol Clarke on behalf of the Colonel Commandant, BGen Steve Irwin and the Branch Chief, CWO Stacey Merriam, who joined the presentation by video link from Ottawa.
