Capt P.K.J. Marchildon, CD

After more than 13 years of loyal and dedicated service to the Canadian Armed Forces and the Canadian Military Engineer Branch, Capt P.K.J. Marchildon, CD, will retire on 30 August 2024.
Captain Pierre-Karl (PK) Marchildon enlisted in the CAF in July 2011 in Montreal. He graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada in 2016. He completed his basic officer training in military engineering at the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering in Gagetown in 2018.
He was posted to the 5 CER in 2018 where he held the positions of troop commander for troops 5 and 6, operations officer of the 53 squadron, and finally adjutant. In April 2019, he was deployed on roto 7 of Op UNIFIER in Ukraine as an engineering advisor for the combined armed training group. In May 2019, he was promoted to the rank of captain. In June 2021, he was posted to the 34 CER as the adjutant. He is a new father to a little girl who was born in July 2024.
