After more than 35 years of loyal and dedicated service, Capt Marc Mongeau will retire from the Canadian Armed Forces on 27 Oct 2014. Marc enrolled in Montreal as a Firefighter in 1979 and rose to the rank of Master Warrant Officer prior to commissioning from the Ranks in 1998. Marc isn't going too far away from us as he accepted a position as the Aerodrome Standard Inspector - Emergency preparedness, Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting with Transport Canada in Ottawa. Therefore, he and his family will continue to reside in L'Ange Gardien in the Outaouais region area. In order to honour Marc's service in the CAF and to wish him well in his new career, at Marc's request a luncheon will be held at the Heart and Crown Pub, 67 Clarence St Ottawa in the Byward Market, at 1200 hrs on Friday, 24 Oct 2014.
