Dear colleagues, I am writing to inform you that I will soon be leaving the military after an eventful and fulfilling journey of over a decade. It is with mixed emotions that I announce my departure, bidding farewell to all those I have had the pleasure of serving alongside since 2010.
I enrolled as a Construction Engineer in 2010, and it has been an incredible privilege to contribute my skills and expertise to various assignments throughout the years. One of the memorable highlights was my time as the Requirements Officer in Goose Bay, Newfoundland & Labrador for more than six years. The experience allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for the unique challenges and opportunities presented in that region.
During my tenure, I also had the honour of serving as a Project Director in Ottawa, where I had the chance to work on diverse projects that enriched my professional growth. The dynamic nature of the position demanded adaptability, perseverance, and collaboration, and I am grateful for the valuable lessons learned and the meaningful connections established.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincerest gratitude to each and every one of you with whom I had the pleasure of serving. Your unwavering dedication, unwavering support, and remarkable camaraderie have made this journey truly remarkable. Together, we have overcome challenges, celebrated victories, and built lasting memories that will forever hold a special place in my heart. As I prepare to embark on a new chapter in my life, I will carry the lessons and experiences gained during my military service with me. I look forward to maintaining the relationships forged here and staying connected with this extraordinary community.
Once again, thank you for your friendship, mentorship, and the countless memories we have shared. It has been an honor to serve alongside all of you, and I will always cherish the bonds we have formed.
