    After more than 10 years of loyal and dedicated service to the Canadian Armed Forces and the Canadian Military Engineers, Capt Connor Hunerfauth will retire on 15 April 2022. Congratulatory messages and best wishes can be sent to Capt J.M.R.D. Wiesenberg at Raphael.Wiesenberg@forces.gc.ca.


    Capt Connor Hunerfauth enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces in 2011 and attended the Royal Military College of Canada. Upon graduating in 2015 and completing trade qualification training, he was posted to 1 Combat Engineer Regiment in 2016.

    At 1 CER, he was employed in 12 Field Squadron and 17 Armoured Sqn and also completed Combat Diver training. In 2019, Connor was posted to the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering where he worked at the Army Dive Centre and Field Engineer Training Squadron.

    Connor looks forward to sailing with his dad, surfing in France, improving his WZ KDA and running with the bulls in Spain before pursuing an MBA in the United States.
