We regret to advise of the death of Captain Albert “Joe” Pawlitza in the Chilliwack Hospital on 16 September 2012 at the age of 96 years.

Joe was born on the family farm in Abbey SK. He joined the Royal Canadian Engineers in 1938 and served until 1963. On leaving the Army, Joe worked at several sales positions and owned some businesses before he retired from the work world. He was a member of the IOF Foresters and the Royal Canadian Legion.

A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday 29 September 2012 at the Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home in Chilliwack. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favourite charity in Albert’s name.
