    We regret to advise of the death of Sapper Peter Kisil (Ret’d) at the Polson Extended Care Centre in Vernon, BC on 26 June 2012 at the age of 85.

    Peter was born in Lachine QC. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Engineers in World War II but did not deploy to Europe.  He spent a 30-plus year career with Walter Kidde Fire Suppression Systems in Montreal and Toronto, retiring in Vernon in 2001.  

    A private memorial will be held at a later date in Montreal.  Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of British Columbia and Yukon, 1212 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6H 3V2. {gdJun2016kh}
