We regret to advise of the death of Sapper Edwin Henry Kisinger (Ret’d) of Red Deer AB on 14 April 2014 at the age of 92 years.

Edwin was born and raised in the Hilda area of Alberta until 1939 when he joined the Canadian Army and was assigned to the Royal Canadian Engineers.  He served in Canada and the UK in construction related tasks. 

Edwin retuned to Canada in 1946 and settled in Medicine Hat where he worked and raised a family.  He and his wife later moved to Red Deer where he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #35 for 58 years.

A memorial service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street in Red Deer on 25 March at 2:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Edwin’s name may be made directly to the Cancer Center, Red Deer Regional Health Foundation.  ^{{dcApr2018gd}  {zsd, zcc, zpi]}
