On Monday, 11 November the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC-ICCA) of the Quebec Region celebrated the 21st anniversary of the Steel Awards for Excellence in Steel Construction, at one of the most historic venues in Canada, the prestigious Montreal 'The Windsor', offering a welcome cocktail, a gourmet 3-course dinner, in a packed hall. The evening was hosted by Stéphanie Levesque (animator, columnist, author, cabinetmaker).

The gala theme on Remembrance Day highlighted that the CISC Quebec Region was the first to pay tribute to our veterans. The region celebrated the day by presenting a monument to the Canadian Military Engineer Association. They were very proud to welcome representatives from the Canadian Military Engineer Association, members of the Canadian Military Family for the commemorative presentation.

Dr. Christodoulou announced that the Canadian Museum of Military Engineering will be its new home "I hope it's a source of inspiration for future generations." Lieutenant-Colonel (Retired) Luc Ouellet, President, and Sandra F. Johnson Penney, Curator of the Canadian Military Engineer Museum, shared their messages.
