112th Birthday Celebrations in the Sinai

The Royal Canadian Engineers of Op CALUMET, the Canadian named operation within the Multinational Force and Observers in Sinai Egypt, celebrated the 112th birthday of the CME on 30 April 2015. The event was celebrated with a BBQ followed by a presentation of Canadian Military Engineer traditions.

Invitations went to the joint engineers of the Multinational Force and Observers. The engineers from New Zealand, Britain, US and Uruguay were invited to observe the traditions of the Canadian Engineers. The event was held at the Canadian contingent, Beaver Lodge, and 60 personnel were in attendance. Overall it was a successful event, BZ to the junior engineers of Task Force El Gorah for organizing the event.
